Floor plates for floor systems

The widespread precast plates for floor systems  “Predalles” substantially reduce  the use of temporary bearings and totally or partially eliminate the need for plastering, thus saving significantly in terms of time and money.
Precast plates Fornari are concrete floor plates in which lattice girders are incorporated generally in the longitudinal direction to provide strength and rigidity for transient situations. They can be completed with void formers intended to decrease the weight of the floor. Fornari’s reinforced concrete plates are used as permanent formwork for cast-in-situ concrete, which, when hardened, forms a structurally composite slab with the floor plate. Floor plate reinforcing steel constitutes the main reinforcement of composite slab.
Fornari plates can be used both in case of overloaded floors (in this case a monolithic  structure can be built) and for private constructions (in which case the structure will be lightened by void formers).
The dimensions (width 1.20 meters and length up to 12 meters ) as well as the weight (125 kg/m2) of these precast plates allow an easy handling through medium power hoisting machines.

released by a notified body;
